Baby Brynley...

This weekend I ran into an old friend at the Bridal Fair that moved away from Cache Valley a little while ago. She just had a 2 week old baby named Brynley. They brought her over before they went home, and we got some really cute shots of her. Here are a couple of random shots that I grabbed today!

Today I was going through some pictures to enter some print competitions in California, and I ran by a favorite from a few months ago. I wanted to share it with you. Cross your fingers that somebody else likes it too!!!

What a BLAST!

Wow, we had soooo much fun at the bridal fair this weekend at USU. Brooke and I had a BLAST talking to cute brides all day! Brooke did an amazing job, and I really don't know what I would have done without her there to help me. She is new to our company and is going to be involved in everything from post production, editing, candid photography, and graphic design. She is so talented, and I feel so lucky to have her part of our team. I hope she will be with us for years to come...

Thanks to all of you who came by our booth and looked at our amazing albums. We had so much fun with each of you. I did a drawing to give away a free bridal or engagement sitting to one lucky bride. I will be giving that away over the next few days, and I will post the winner here.

I am so passionate about what I do, and it was so energizing to share it with so many people throughout the day, so, thank you for the amazing turn out of brides, and the incredible day!

I threw my little point and shoot camera in my bag so that I could show you some pictures of our booth from the fair...

This is my cute family that stopped by to see how we were doing.

USU Bridal Fair

I am so excited to be attending the bridal fair at Utah State University tomorrow! Diane and Scott Falslev do an absolutely amazing job of coordinating this huge event. Please come by and say hello to us at our booth. Brooke, one of the girls that is going to work with me doing candid photography will be there. The bridal fairs are truly a high point in this industry. It is a wonderful opportunity to get out into the community and talk to people, and to network with other vendors. It is truly one of my favorite times of the business year. I will take some snap shots throughout the day tomorrow and I will have them up on the blog very soon. Hope to see you there!

Mike & Sarah

I truly fall in love with each of the couples that I work with. By the time I have done engagements, bridals, weddings, designed announcements, and albums, ect. I feel like we are good friends. Sarah and Mike are for sure my FAVORITE new friends. We had an absolute wonderful time during their engagements. These two are just so easy to be around and so much fun. It was soooo cold the day we were shooting, and at one point we had to find refuge in an office building down town. It was a day that I will not soon forget, I love the feel of their pictures and you can see their personalities so well! I look forward to their March wedding, and I am hoping for warm weather on their big day! :-)

Jessica & Phill

I had the opportunity to do engagement photos for Jessica and Phill. They were so much fun to work with. It was a little bit cold the day we ventured out to do their photos, but we had a blast. They were amazing to work with and they are clearly very in love! I attached a few of my favorite photos of them.

Oh Baby...

One of my good friends Chelsea had some beautiful baby girls about 7 months ago. Recently she she came over to my house for a yummy lunch and some good conversation. Her girls and Ryen (my baby girl) had so much fun together. I could not help but pull out my camera and take a few snaps shots of her little munchkins. I have been so lucky to take pictures every once and a while of these beautiful girls over the past 7 months. I have included a few of my favorites as well as the ones we just took. Chelsea, your girls are BEAUTIFUL!!! Keep bringing them over!

Winter Wonderland

Over my Christmas Vacation my sister Shellee (a wedding photographer from St. George, Utah) and I traveled to Salt Lake City to do a temple wedding for Emily and Beau. They were among some of the last people to emerge from the temple that evening. It was soooooo cold and they were amazing sports. Emily, as you can see in the pictures, wore a beautiful "short sleeved" dress. I think that they were both icicles by the time we were finished with them. I put on some of the beautiful scenic shots of the sunset behind the temple. They had to hold so still for some of these pictures, and they did such a great job so - a big thank you to some of my favorite clients and new friends Beau and Emily!
