We made it home...

Oh what a fun week I have had. My family and I drove out to Minnesota to an amazing family reunion with my husbands family. Oh it was so good to see everyone. We stayed in a beautiful cabin right on a lake and we had so much fun! I wanted to share some pictures. I was only there for 3 days before I flew out to California to a beautiful wedding. I can not wait to dive into those pictures because they are so beautiful! For now, I am nursing my sick little two year old who started throwing up this morning! Oh I need another vacation... hee hee hee! Enjoy some fun images from my trip!

This was the beautiful house we stayed in.


This looks like California, but the beaches in Minnesota are amazing! The water was only a foot deep for probably 1/2 a mile and the sand was so soft and deep. Sooooooo much fun!


There are lakes EVERYWHERE. As for the name "land of 10,000 lakes". This is a quick shot of my GPS in my car that shows all of the lakes!

Out of here...

Hello everyone. I am taking a short break. I am heading to Minnesota for family fun and then off to California for a wedding. I will be back in my office on Monday July 28th. I plan on reading a good book, watching a few movies, and having a great time. If you need to contact me for any reason I will be checking my messages both voice mail and texts at 435.881.9884. Ok, so first of all "sorry" to Rustyn for all of the wrong names tonight. I so struggle with peoples names and Rustyn was hard for me tonight. I called him Rusty, Dustin, Ryan, Dustin (seriously)!

Candis and Lance's Engagements

Here is Candis and Lance again. All of you fellow photographers out there will understand what I have to say about these two. You know how not every couple can pull off every pose? I am not exaggerating when I say that these two totally can. Every single pose I picture for them they nail! They fit my style down to the tee, and I completely LOVE every picture of them. Which, by the way, is so funny because these two were randomly picked from over 75 brides that entered my happiest bride contest back in February. I did not know them, and it was strangely coincidental. I must be having some good karma!

Ashley and Izach

Wow, another post finally! I have been MIA for a few days - hiding out in my office getting so much work done, and now hanging out with my SISTER!!! Yes, some of you know Shellee. She is from St. George and is down staying with me for a few days. It is so much fun to finally hang out with her again!!!! We actually have a fun project that we are doing a little bit later in the week that I will share with everyone.

The amazing Stephanie and Alan

A while back we went to California to do some work. This was the absolute HIGHLIGHT of our trip.

I first met Stephanie and Alan last year. They came all of the way up from California to have their engagement pictures done in Rexburg Idaho. You may remember them...



Stephanie is amazingly gorgeous, not to mention how beautiful she was on her wedding day. The wedding details were amazing and Megan and I had so much fun. There were times during the night that I thought Megan was going to throw down her camera and join in the fun. In fact, I do believe that it was at this wedding that she created the one and only "camera dance". I will have to do a post of her camera dance soon! There was one point during the night that she was on the ground on her back taking dance pictures and she was surrounded by 15 or so dancing boys! I feared for her life a bit!!! Needless to say we had an amazing trip and it was an amazing wedding.

Stephanie and Alan (and their entire families), thank you so much for the warm hearted hospitality while we were in your care! You guys are such a beautiful couple and I know you will be happy in life! Congradulations and I hope to see you sometime soon!

Blogging Every Day... Erica's Seniors

Oh my goodness life is moving at a rapid pace this summer. I wanted to get Erica's pictures posted because I still have 2 weddings, a family, and an engagement to blog! So, expect things every day here for a while.

I told you a little bit about Erica in my previous post. She is Mikkal's cousin (who's wedding is coming up in 9 more days!). Erica and her mom were such a good time and so easy to be around. I don't know why I get blessed with such amazing clients, but I honestly do!

One man's trash...

Ok, so my husband is going to KILL ME!!! Last night I drug home 2 more of these chairs. So, now I have 2 green, 2 pink, and 1 orange chair along with a red couch. If any of you out there know Dan, you know he is not a collector of ANYTHING! He would trash a blessing dress, or send my daughters hand made blanket from grandma to DI if he could. (Mom if you are reading this that stuff is safe - don't you worry!!!)

Last night I did this fun senior shoot. We had such a good time. Erica is from Arizona and she is such a pretty girl and I have some awesome shots of her. And, I got to try out the new chair for the first time. So, when I got home and pulled in the drive way I was hoping that my husband would be in back or busy - no such luck. There was no sneaking and he was none too happy with me. I may have to get a storage space for all of my cool finds (or his suggestion is to get a big garbage can...)

On another note - I finished my office some time back. I will post some pictures of that very soon as well! It is so cute and it has been so fun to work on.

Happiest Bride Cashes In...

So, anyone recognize these two...



Candis and Lance are my 2008 happiest bride (and groom). I met them at the "Wedding Showcase" in February this year. They entered my contest for a FREE WEDDING and they were the big winners. Last week we did their formal session and we had such a fantastic time. Candis is so incredibly fun to shoot. We had an absolute blast. Even editing her pictures made me want to take more pictures of her. Luckily we have their wedding coming up in August.

AHHHHHHH - Website Down...

Happy Monday morning...

I got a text yesterday while I was out of town from one of my brides mom's letting me know my website was down. So, first thing this morning I jumped on and got that taken care of. Just a note...

To all of my brides out there I am looking at my calender for the month of July and I want to let everyone know that I will be out of town July 19th through July 28th. Mikkal and Ben have their wedding on July 19th, and then I am headed to Minnesota to a fun family reunion where I will do some family pictures while I am out there. From Minnesota I fly to California again for Krystal and Scott's wedding.

If you have any orders that need to be placed be sure and notify me well before the 19th.

This is the ever adorable Nicole. Her sister is my neighbor and she is just the cutest girl. These two are getting married up at the Idaho Falls temple next month and I am so excited! I had a great time with them. We run into (literally could almost reach out and touch) a deer on our photo shoot. These two are so much fun to be around and they are infectiously happy! Oh the good times...
