Nicole and Chris - Wedding Day

Megan and I went up to Idaho Falls to shoot Nicole and Chris' wedding. They were such a cool laid back couple. Nicole looked amazing, and we had such a fun time with them. We went up to the wind mills and oh I love the whimsical feel of those beautiful blue sky pictures.

Ester and Scott

Tonight I headed up Logan Canyon again to do another engagement. Don't get sick of it just yet! I am heading up there first thing tomorrow morning as well! The colors up Logan Canyon are just beautiful now. Since it feels like we have about 2 weeks of this total each year, I have to take advantage of it!

Best Friends

As I announced a few weeks ago I am no longer doing any family photography. That has proven to be a great choice for me this fall! I am so busy and working what feels like night and day to make sure all of my brides are taken care of. It has been a good thing so far for me and for my business!

HOWEVER, you have to make an exception once and a while. This is my best friend in the whole world. We live next door to each other and Dan and I have been good friends with BJ and Stacee for about 9 years now. I had to take their cute families pictures last night. We had a great time (when I say "we" I am not referring to BJ - he did not love it!) and their kids were SOOOOOO good.

Jesika's Bridals

GUESS WHAT!!! My baby I-Mac came home today! It is all better and I am so excited to get off this laptop and back in my office! It has been a crazy week trying to run everything without it.

Jesika and I went up to Wyoming for her bridal session! Oh we had a great time. This is the beautiful valley I grew up in! It was so fun to be there on a fall evening and while I sat and looked at those amazing mountains the memories of the time I spent there came flooding back. It seems like yesterday, but like a lifetime ago.

First of all let me share my happy news today. I called the computer store that is working on my i-mac and it has a bad fan in it and the part has been ordered and hopefully it will be repaired and ready to go tomorrow! Cross your fingers that the fan is the only problem!!!

This was one of the coolest (is that a word?) weddings I did this year. It was so chill and laid back! Maberly did an insane job of her wedding. Every little detail was perfect. The setting was a quaint beautiful farm house (her grandparents estate) in Idaho. They had beautiful ceremony on the front porch and did a backyard dinner! It was amazing! I love it when brides step out of the box and do something different! Enjoy these pictures...

This is a picture that we were duplicating that was exactly like when her grandparents were married. They stood in that very spot, with the exact fireplace and even the same painting was behind them. So much history surrounded this wedding!

COMPUTER PROBLEMS...

Hello everyone. I am having some computer problems with my i-mac. I had to take it into Dr. Apple today to get it repaired. I should have it back in 3-5 days and until then I will be running off of my laptop! I am a bit slower so I will do my best to keep up on my blog.

Last night I shot a beautiful bridal. Tiffany, I had so much fun with you and your parents. I will have your pictures posted on Friday.

Today I am so excited to be off with Jesika (SEE JESIKA'S Engagement Pictures) to Star Valley, Wyoming to do her bridal session. We are both from Star Valley and I have never shot a bridal there so I am so excited for this adventure!

I am so excited to present...

THE TIME HAS COME...

I have been considering doing a mentoring session for quite some time now. I have had so many inquiries lately that I decided to go ahead and just do it! I have worked really hard on a really fun couple of days together where I believe you will learn everything you need to start and run a successful photography business. I am opening this up to the FIRST TWO people who are interested.

It will start with Dinner on October 8th and be a full day clinic on the 9th. I absolutly love to teach people and am so excited at the opportunity to help other photographers succeed.

A little about Kellee

I set here at 1 in the morning thinking about all that has to be done this weekend. I have traveling, and photography, and fun waiting for me... Everything else will just have to wait until Monday!

I have been dreading this post a bit. Posting Megan's and Celeste's pictures first was good for me. I even snuck a bridal in there. But I guess there is no more waiting...

I always thought I loved to get my picture taken. Something has changed though... I think it is mostly the camera's. The better technology gets and the older I get the less I like to look at all of my imperfections.

Megan and Celeste and I did a really fun photo shoot last week. We all met at Serendipity for hair and makeup and then we took our fun outfits and got busy! I was so much more comfortable shooting the two of them rather than posing myself. It gave me a whole new perspective on what my clients go through...

BOOKING NOTE!!! I have been getting a lot of calls for late October and November weddings, so I wanted to let everyone know my current availability. I am so thrilled about the the progress I have been making on so many business fronts, and just had to give you all a quick update. I completed some big projects this week for my upcoming website. It makes me so excited as I see things falling into place!

I have literally been working non stop for what seems like forever (but really only this week!). I have 9 sessions this week by the time the weekend is complete! So fun! I did an amazing wedding tonight for Sarah and Garrett. Their wedding announcement is below. I had a great time and worked with the fabulous Bruce Daniels and his beautiful wife from Premier Productions. Oh we had so much fun together! I am so excited to share some of the photos, but that will come a little later. For now I am off to bed!!!

Tomorrow I am off to Pleasant View to a wedding. I have been looking forward to both of my weddings this weekend for some time and I can not believe that one is already over and then next is only hours away. You would think I was the one getting married...

Jesika and Lane

I am so excited for a "special" shoot I am doing tomorrow. It has been in the plans for a while now and I have been doing some "extra work" to make it happen. I can't wait to shoot it and to show you all very soon!

I have been so busy lately both with photography and otherwise. To stay on top of things I ma posting same day engagements and bridals!

Tonight I had the best time with Jesika and Lane. Jesika grew up in the same small town as I did (just a few years later - sniff sniff). She and I had such a great time tonight talking about home and about mutual friends! Lane sat in the back seat and endured the whole thing! What a good guy!

I love the feel of their session. I can not wait to do Jesika's bridals in a few weeks.

Prego Pics of Aimee

So, I am adventuring into new territory here... I have NEVER done anything MATERNITY before! As I announced last week I am specializing in Wedding Photography only. However, I will always do pictures of my family!

So, here is the cute pregnant Aimee. I did the wedding pictures for her and Scott a little over a year ago and now, I can not wait to meet their little baby boy! I was able to visit with Aimee a bit this past Sunday in Rexburg, and she is so pregnant cute. She does not look like she is due in 3 weeks. She is getting to that point in the pregnancy that is challenging and uncomfortable for anyone who goes through it.

Good luck Aimee, and I can't wait to get my hands on little baby SMITH!


Oh my favorite of her. Who has beautiful eyes, and skin like that? Especially when you are pregnant? Not me!
