Such a cute couple...

About a week ago Megan, Melissa, and I took these gorgeous pictures at the Logan Temple! This was the cutest couple! They have the best personalities, and the pictures just radiate with their funness (ok, so that is not a word, but it just fits them...)

So, if you live in Utah, and especially in Cache Valley, you will know why I posted this picture of a "blue sky" - heaven help us through the inversion season and bring us spring!!!!

Caitlyn & Brian

Today I had the pleasure of working with my FAVORITE COUPLE. That is right, there is no competition when it comes to favorites (right now anyway)! This is my husband Dan's baby brother Brian and his gorgeous fiancee! We had so much fun. We were so concerned about the weather (after all it is March today and the whole in like a Lion thing gets me every year), so we headed out at 10:00 this morning. I am so glad we did because we had 2 hours of perfect weather. Then, we headed to a couple of indoor locations for fun and ended with a snow fight in the mountains.

I am so excited to be working with these two. They are so great for each other! Caitlyn was so much fun to photograph and she is such a little beauty. We are going to have a great time at her bridals at the end of the month.

I feel like the last two pictures need an explanation. This is a bit of an inside joke with Caitlyn's dad! It is just like these two to do something fun with this, and I am always game, so for now they will be known as the "Geek" couple!






Ahhhhh, this is a feel good picture. Either it makes you feel like they will always have fun with each other, or that Brian is going to bully her!! Just kidding, he is great!

WEDDING SHOWCASE...

Last weekend we had the very fun Wedding Showcase. This is the fist year for this event and it was AMAZING!!! The organizers that I worked with, Candice Lewis with Urban Floral and Nicole Christiansen with Any Occasion did an outstanding job. From the decorations, to the music and ambiance, it was such a fun day! I was even able to help a little bit with the fashion show and that was great fun for me as well.

Serendipity played a HUGE role in the day. They had a great space for their booth overlooking the entire fair, and they did all of the hair and make-up for the "fashion bridal" show. It was incredible to see how they transformed these girls. Three of my past clients were in the fashion show and they all did a great job. You might recognize some of them in the sideshow!

My favorite part of the day was seeing all of these young hip brides come through. We had so many willing and fun participants in our "Happiest Bride Contest". The contest was for a free bridal or engagement and all day wedding coverage for FREE FREE FREE FREE!!! No strings attached! So, before we go any further, let me announce the big winner of our FREE wedding package.





This is my fun booth. I loved my space, the lighting was so interesting! There were colored spot lights shining in all directions and it seemed like everything was just glowing...

TOP THREE...

Wow, this happiest bride contest has been a painstaking process. We had so much fun and took pictures of so many happy brides. I could not possibly choose, so I sent the pictures off to a non bias photographer to pick my happiest bride. So, with the deadline of today, she called me and said that she just could not make a decision, and really needed to sleep on it. Here is a sneak peak of the 3 finalists. After a good nights sleep we will see who we end up with tomorrow.... Ta Ta for now!

Terra & Jody

Those of you that live where you do not experience the 4 seasons really miss out. Sure, in some respects you may miss out on pushing snow, and driving on bad roads, and being cold and wet most of the time... However, looking at pictures like this just makes me want to be out in the fun of it all. Remember when you were a kid out in the yard building a snowman? These pictures really take me back to days like that.

I met Terra and Jody at a bridal fair in January. They are such a cool couple. They are doing a really amazing destination wedding in January of 2009, so you will be seeing them for a while... Terra has the most AMAZING green eyes! They are so easy to be around and it was great fun to shoot their engagements.

A special "thanks" to Melissa who joined us for the photo shoot and who was a great help juggling everything from coats, to boots, to cameras, to keys all while lugging through snow that was sometimes to our knees!!!
