One man's trash continued...

Oh I had such a great day yesterday. Megan and I traveled up to Idaho Falls Idaho to do a beautiful wedding at the Idaho Falls Temple. It was absolutly amazing!!! I am so excited to show you some of the fun shots that we did. But for now, I have a funny story before I take off for the weekend...

If you read my blog you will remember an entry I did a while ago called "One man's Trash". I collect fun, cool, funky, and beautiful furniture to shoot on. Well my husband was not very pleased when I drug home two new green chairs. He gave me a really hard time about it!

A few weeks after that, I had them loaded in the back of my truck and returned from a shoot. He had to run somewhere in a hurry and did not take the time to take the chairs out. Upon returning back to drive home there was a not on the windshield...



Oh I love it. Sorry Melanie, but these two chairs have a home for good, and Dan, maybe you are the only one who does not appreciate what fine furniture they are...

I have an awesome deal for anyone out there that is interested. I am going to list this Nikon AF-S DX Zoom-Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8 lens on e-bay. Before I do so, I thought I would post it on here and see if there is anyone locally who is interested in the lens. It is my FAVORITE lens and use it 95% of the time. However, my new D3 is a full frame camera and so I want to get a lens to take advantage of that.

This lens is absolutly perfect for professionals or serious amateurs. It has VERY LITTLE ware and tear and is like new! It is pictured with a clear 77mm NC Glass filter. I put that filter on the same day I bought this lens and it has never been removed. So, the lens is completely protected! This is an $80.00 filter that I am including with the lens.

Additionally, it comes with the box, all paper instructions as well as an unused warranty card. I have only been shooting with it for a little over a year and like I said before it is my LENS OF CHOICE!

Oh La La...

My good good friend Celeste came with me to Jackson Wyoming to do Sarah and Garret's engagement pictures. We had a great time together. She is one of those friends that I do not talk to every day, and sometimes every week, and sometimes every month. (Yes, if you are wondering, I am a bad friend). HOWEVER, when we are together or even when we talk it is like no time has passed and we pick up right where we left off. Oh Celeste - your the best and thanks so much for all of the help during the shoot, the amazing ice cream, and the unbeatable conversation! You are one hot mama!!!

Mikkal and Ben Sneak Peak of wedding...

I am headed out the door to go to Idaho to a fun wedding today. I wanted to leave you this weekend with a sneak peak of Ben and Mikkals wedding. Megan finished editing it and I got my first look at it last night, and I can not wait for you to see it! I will be back in my office on Monday with more.

Oh what a good time we had. We (my great friend Celeste and I) met these two up in Jackson Wyoming to do these killer engagements. Holly cow it was fun and I LOVE THESE PICTURES. This is one of my favorite sessions I have done in a long time!

If anyone is interested I shot these on my new Nikon D3 with a 50mm 1.4 lens. We started the session at 4:00 in the evening and the session lasted about 2 hours. The open field pictures were reflected with a 72 inch gold proflex.

Edited in lightroom in about 45 min. Actions were applied to a few of the final blog pictures but none of the sideshow pictures. If you have any questions about the session please feel free to ask...






























I want to choose this one as my PHOTOGRAPHERS CHOICE but there are others I like too!
