Sarah and Garrett

Oh what a good time we had. We (my great friend Celeste and I) met these two up in Jackson Wyoming to do these killer engagements. Holly cow it was fun and I LOVE THESE PICTURES. This is one of my favorite sessions I have done in a long time!

slideshow

If anyone is interested I shot these on my new Nikon D3 with a 50mm 1.4 lens. We started the session at 4:00 in the evening and the session lasted about 2 hours. The open field pictures were reflected with a 72 inch gold proflex.

Edited in lightroom in about 45 min. Actions were applied to a few of the final blog pictures but none of the sideshow pictures. If you have any questions about the session please feel free to ask...

I want to choose this one as my PHOTOGRAPHERS CHOICE but there are others I like too!

ALSO love this one...

AND I LOVE THIS ONE.

Please let me know what you think...

Hey Kellee, these are very very pretty. I just love Jackson Hole. I have great memories of shopping there in high school. Totally remember the candy store. Such a natural couple.

Heather, I have been a Fuji girl since I stared, and this is my first Nikon since my 35mm years ago. SO HAPPY WITH IT!

Awesome session! My faves are the 3rd, 7th, 10th and 16th shots. Gorgeous!

I dream of the D3 sometimes. hehe. Right now I have the D300, which I am in LOVE with...but I know the D3 offers even more wonderful qualities. Hmmm, perhaps some day I may switch. Congrats on your new equipment. So exciting! :o)

WOW!! You seriously are amazing! I love these, especially the candy canes, so creative. Have you ever taken a workshop or had a mentor? I'm just starting out and looking for a good one! I will definately be back!!!

Thanks so much guys for all of the comments. You are all so sweet. Amanda, I saw you shot in Cache Valley, next time give me a call and if I am not busy I would love to come and shoot with you.

Raquel, I have never been to an official shooting workshop, nor have I ever mentored with anyone. I have mentored other photographers and have 2 photographers working for me that I teach. I have been to countless seminars, and conventions, and I am continually learning and growing with photography.

Thanks again for all of the comments and questions!

Ashley,

Thanks for the comment. I do remember your cute pink chair pictures with the glasses! I have always loved Nikon and even started with my first 35mm SLR was a Nikon. All of my pro cameras have been Fuji from the S2 to the current S5. They are all Nikon compatible so I have always used Nikon flashes and lenses. I do love this new D3 and I am so happy to be back with Nikon. What Nikon do you shoot with?
