YEA, THE BRIDAL FAIR...

Oh my GOSH!!! Did we ever have a GREAT time... I can not believe how many fun and beautiful brides I met with. Bridal fairs are something that our company looks forward to each year and it is so exhilarating to get out there and meet with so many people. Megan talked so much all day long that when she came into work this morning she had lost her voice (Poor girl...).

We had a really fun contest and a great response to it from all of you brides. We had over 150 brides participate and will be going through those pictures and will be selecting a winner very shortly, so check back in the next couple of days to see if your the big winner! Also, we are going to do the same contest in February at the Wedding Showcase and we are giving away something different and it is a HUGE prize. Something I have never done before - and you will not want to miss it! Everyone who entered our contest received one of these cute bride bags. If you didn't get one don't miss out at the February 23rd Bullen Center Wedding Showcase.

We did a new booth this year and we had so much fun with it. I took a couple of quick snap shots to share with everyone, and I will be sure and take more pictures at our February fair.

We printed up some AMAZING albums and if you did not get a chance to look through all of them call me to set up a personal consultation. They are so unique and like nothing you will find here in Cache Valley.

Probably the highlight of this bridal fair for me was the Bridal Guide Magazine. My photo was selected this year for the Magazine and it looks so fantastic. I was so excited and honored!!!!!

Becky & Brennon

My last December wedding was Becky and Brennon. I LOVED Becky's dress! It was AMAZING!!! It was a bitter cold day the day that they were married, and they were such troopers to let me drag them all over Temple Square.

Happy New Year...hee hee hee

Well before Christmas I started thinking about some fun things I wanted to write about on my blog for the new year. Are you kidding me? Here it is January 18, and still no entry. So forgive me for the belated New Years wishes.

2007 was so amazing for me personally as well as for my company. I have spent years now building this company from the ground up, and in 2007 things really started to roll for us. In 2007 I put together a new website, upgraded all of my equipment, changed all of our computers over to MAC, implemented an integrated proofing system, and changed both album companies and professional printing labs and built a wonderful working relationship with both of them. My gosh, it makes me tired just thinking about everything that we have been through...

I have had the opportunity to document some amazing events this year and to work with some great brides. I think my brides are the most beautiful, edgy, classy, and sassy girls. We have done some outstanding finished albums, and some killer prints that I am so proud of. Thank you to everyone who chose Moments By Kellee to be part of their wedding. It was an HONOR for me...

I also won some awards in 2007 for my photography. This picture was one of my favorite award winning shots.

So what now? I am SOOOOOO excited for 2008. We are kicking the year off with a bang at two bridal fairs. Be sure to come and see us on January 26th in the Tagart Student Center for our first bridal fair this year. I have been working for months on my booth and it is coming together so well! I am premiering some new products there in both prints and albums. I have a new professional demo video coming out that was made by West End Productions. I am working on a new website that will premier next Wednesday (hopefully)! Moments By Kellee is also giving away some fun stuff at the bridal fair that you will not want to miss. So, if you know anyone with an upcoming wedding make sure they stop by.

I have also doubled the size of my staff this year so that we can better accommodate your needs and still be able to do things just as quickly as you are accustom to. My head candid shooter Megan has recently taken on all of the editing and has started become an even larger part of our company. If you have worked with Moments By Kellee in the past, then I am sure that you know Megan. She is doing a fantastic job and I hear nothing but praise from my brides about her.

Thank you to all of my customers in 2007. You have all been great to work with. Honestly, every single one of you. I feel so blessed to be part of peoples lives in such an intimate way, and to share such wonderful moments as people create memories. Thank you to all of my friends in the Photography world for all of the support that you offer. I have had the opportunity to work with and mingle with some of the greatest photographers in the world. What a thrill that has been for me!

And of course thank you to my family! My wonderful husband Dan is an AMAZING person. I wake up every morning and wonder how I am so lucky to be part of his life. He is so supportive and he is always there to guide me through this business adventure of mine! My children are growing up so quickly, and I am so blessed to be in a profession that I can be at home with my children as they grow, and discover, and learn. I hope to do even more of that in 2008!

Happy New Year, and I hope that we can all have a wonderful and prosperous 2008!

Karen and Tyson, another December wedding...

I am still catching up from a busy December. Karen and Tyson were great fun. If you know much about me, you know I grew up a cowgirl in Wyoming. Tyson wore a great black cowboy hat and it was right up my alley. As you all know I love ANYTHING different! So, it was a lot of fun. Also, one of my new candid shooters Liz joined Megan and I on this shoot and did an awesome job!

Sarah and Ryan

This weekend I got to meet with Sarah and Ryan to do their engagements. We had so much fun. These two are so easy to be around and it was like I was hanging out with old friends. I think that Sarah has such a killer serious look. I am a sucker or the serious pictures, and they were so good. Ryan on the other hand is way to happy to be too serious. Even in his serious faces he had a little bit of a grin. I LOVE IT! Anyway, I am so excited for Sarah's upcoming bridals, as well as their wedding in March.

Blair and Tiffer's Wedding

I am still trying to get caught up from the Holiday Wedding rush. Blaire and Tiffer were married right after Christmas. I was not able to make it to their wedding, so Megan took over this photo shoot and did a fantastic job.

I have know Blair and her family for several years. She is such a great girl, and as you will soon see she was a BEAUTIFUL bride. She has such an elegant and classy feel to everything that she does. I am always impressed with her and her mother.

Thanks for letting us share this wonderful day with you. Good luck with your exciting future.

I love this picture. She peeked around the corner before the ceremony started and caught a glance of Tiffer and teared up! Her dad was wiping away her tears.

The Chase Family

Well hello again. It is fun to be making another post. I have had a very busy and productive 2008 so far! I have some great things to share with everyone and so check back to find out what is new with Moments By Kellee in 2008.

I have a friend I have met through Church and she is the cutest lady! She left me a message on my answering machine in December and said that she had a "family picture emergency". I was almost a little bit scared to call her back to find out what that could have been. When I finally got a hold of her this was the emergency, "my whole family is together for Christmas and I have to get a picture taken!" Really she has a daughter that lives out of the country and so it was a rare opportunity to capture a moment in time!

We met one COLD morning! They were such a fun family to work with and it was like watching a dance to see everyone get ready and file in and out of their cars trying to stay warm while taking turns snapping some photo's.

Taiya & Cameron's Wedding

Taiya and Cameron were one of my December weddings. They are such a beautiful couple and they had a wonderful wedding. Everything was done so well and they both had wonderful families. They were all fantastic to work with. These two will be receiving a custom album and I am so excited to work with them over the next few months to finalize and print their album. I will be sure and post it for everyone to see when it is completed.

Here is a SLIDE SHOW of their event!
